    Went to the Goodyear website put my tyre size in with 96 load, the website came back with Dunlop Sport Maxx RT. The Goodyear tyres are only 92 load rated.

    There are times when I do push the tyres, so want them for when I do. Also going for an A for wet grip is a safety factor, and since I like long intervals between filling up I like the idea of economical tyres hence the best rating of C for economy.     Hope they disconnected the battery, otherwise they could have fried the computers.

    If it was done by insurance, then any work carried out will be covered, including having a properly running car after repair. Work covered by warranty, including letting the battery go flat, might have jump started it or charged the battery incorrectly, might have fried a computer or two!

    There are no loose plugs or ones that have been unplugged and not re-connected? What voltage has your battery? The first thing that sprang to mind was earth fault, is the engine earth strap good?
