Women in Skoda stopped at the stop sign and didn't see me driving on the main road, she took off and crashed into me. 😥 It is so sad to see my RCZ wrecked...
Currently, In Lithuania, there are only 3 RCZs for sale and only one of them is worth attention. My best option is to get a decent...
Today some women crashed into my RCZ 😭 Most likely RCZ will be written off... Luckily there were no injuries. Not sure what insurance payout will be but probably not enough to get another RCZ.
I really loved this car but I guess this is how it ends 😥
You already said that like 3 times already. Yes, the fan comes on when something is not right.
My HPFP failed at around 50k miles, I had misfires, shaking, fan on startup or after driving. Similar issues occurred when some garage changed my spark plugs. Coils got damaged when they replaced...
If your RCZ mileage is above 60k miles, you should probably consider changing high pressure fuel pump (which costs around £500). When my RCZ was failing, Peugeot dealership could not find where the problem is, but changing HPFP solved my issues. This is a common problem on RCZ.
In my case, the turbo was rebuilt recently
Just called my Peugeot dealership and asked how much would it cost to replace valve stem seals... More than 1000 Eur 😓 White smoke started when they changed the oil to 0W-30 and suggested next time to use 5W-30.
I have a similar issue. After the last oil change, my RCZ started to produce a lot of white/blueish smoke after idling (only when the engine is hot). It is very annoying in traffic jams, I leave everyone in a huge cloud of smoke. My mileage is 150.000 km.
I am also suspecting valve stem seals.
I have installed it on my THP 200. In the instructions, they show THP 200 variant fitment. The only issue was I had to grind one edge of DV a little bit. DV was touching another component and would not fit perfectly but a little grinding does the job.
Maybe this is the reason they do not list...
