P0087

So I've recently gotten the fault code "P0087" recently (Low fuel rail pressure) but after some diagnosing I've realised the fuel rail has around 60 PSI when the ignition is on and also it doesn't take more then 2 seconds after starting her up before the PSI reaches 1000. So now I'm obviously wondering what the problem might be as the PSI seems to be correct. Hopefully someone here knows a bit about this since I'm kind of new to cars but am trying to learn. Thanks in advance!

Can you measure the hIgh & low fuel trims with the engine underload hook up a scanner & scroll the menu for live fuel trim graph then drive the car monitoring the fuel pressure if you can have someone checking the scan as you drive it also if the pump is the fault you may experience juddering on acceleration?
The fuel pressure sensor is another factor relating to this fault

Problem is I’m not experiencing juddering. Happened once but back then I was in limp mode too, after that I’ve not experienced it again. I’ll have to buy a new OBD2 reader. The one I have is very bad.

I've started getting p0087 on my 200, starts fine usually when cold but sometimes will start and fuel pressure will be under 100psi, once it warms up abit and restart its fine and goes back up over 700psi. I've heard the other fuel pump should be between 50-75psi with ignition on so that seems fine.

Most likely hpfp, it'll get worse over time

The worst of the issues show when cold, eventually it'll start cutting out if you try to drive soon after the engine light comes on. May also stall on cold starts sometimes and takes slightly longer to start. When warm if you accelerate you might get some pops from exhaust but that's the only thing I've noticed so far haven't really pushed it since

I’m in Sweden and did the test to see PSI yesterday straightly after work (Car untouched in -2°C for 8 hours) weird how it works so good. But maybe 1000 PSI is too high? Though I get a code for it being too low haha. Anyway I ordered an ELM so I can use an app to record a graph for me whilst driving!
