Re: & another If you're really unhappy I'm sure there's some clever person out there who is a genius and could fettle it for you. And by genius read : not a main dealer body shop. Sent from my VFD 710 using Tapatalk

    Adventures in bodge land

No, mine has the quad tailpipes and small gloss black corner spoilers on the front bumper. Both of which I'm sure were part of the feline kit. I may be wrong though! I am tempted by some side decals, but I'm unsure how it would look given mine isn't red/white/blue or black.

A bit better, still a notch going 1st to 2nd, but seems smoother in all the others.

Worst Name your Z has been called by non believers

I call Audis, Aldis. Someone once asked if mine was a Vauxhall once... Usually it just gets called a girl's car, or a hairdresser's car. Strangely by people who drive slower cars.. Last time I was getting some good mannered abuse from someone with a diesel Passat I had to burst his balloon...

Help How do you remove a battery?

I charge mine in situ. Although I have a modern charger/conditioner that doesn't just chuck electricity at the battery. Been doing it ages and no problems.

    Adventures in bodge land

Just going for a test drive, maybe no massive difference but I'd rather that black muck be out of it. Sent from my VFD 710 using Tapatalk

    Adventures in bodge land

I thought I'd change the gearbox oil today. Discovered I didn't have an 8mm square drive. So I made one from an extension on my bench grinder. Check the colour of the old oil. This out of a less than 57k mile car. Sent from my VFD 710 using Tapatalk

    Engine fault light on !!!

Coil packs won't fix the fuelling issue. It could be the maf, but I'd assume that would ping a code or show up in live data. I'd check the fuel delivery pressure. Sent from my VFD 710 using Tapatalk

Don't want to piss on your chips but I bet if it's got a fault it will come back. Sent from my VFD 710 using Tapatalk

    CAR Magazine buying guide

Carbon build up on petrols is an issue. Petrols run chains not belts, the HDi engine has a belt. As with most Peugeots a tip top battery is desirable as small electrical glitches can creep in with a less than perfect one. As above, weak jacking points. Sent from my VFD 710 using Tapatalk

Re: & another Don't forget they're Austrian, not German so you've got to expect wider tolerance specs :D Sent from my VFD 710 using Tapatalk

    Engine fault light on !!!

Peugeot planet software, interface and a laptop. Generic code readers from my experience are cack. They give you a code, sometimes, and that's about it. Sent from my VFD 710 using Tapatalk

    Engine fault light on !!!

You'll want planet, generic code readers don't work well with Peugeots. Sent from my VFD 710 using Tapatalk

Forgot about weak jacking points, I've welted mine back with a lump hammer and a length of wood. Sent from my VFD 710 using Tapatalk
