NEED HELP! - possible engine problems and codes?

Are they using Peugeot planet or something else? Not a lot of gear plays nice with Peugeots. timing chain is obvious, start it from cold. If it sounds like a bag of spanners being thrown down a flight of stairs = Timing chain/tensioner. Don't confuse this with the hideously noisy injectors...

Ah yes soft99, I'd like to try their waxes.

    finally got time to clean

I actually prefer a sealant, they tend to sheet rather than bead. Although I do use waxes too.

Re: 5 years & just discovered a feature When I bought my first 407, an xline. Which every mong under the sun knows has a cd changer in the boot. I opened the side panel In the boot to check it was there, the salesman saw it and by his reaction you'd have thought we'd discovered the cure for...

Tyre wearing through wheel arch liner

Looks alright side on, what about the toe of the wheel? Mine certainly doesn't do that amount of scrubbing, and I'm guessing from the responses neither does anyone elses. So there must be an issue.

NEED HELP! - possible engine problems and codes?

I had the whole lot done on mine.

    Brake pads

Easy to change as well, took me all of 30 minutes a side. Just remember to put rags around the brake master cylinder, you don't want brake fluid spilling all over.

Have you got any more pictures? Like full side on?

    Brake pads

Probably the same as the 200. I paid £130 for Mintex discs and pads.

    Preparing for a trip?

I check mine regularly, but rarely top up. I had to a Couple of times during the cold weather though.

    Preparing for a trip?

I tempt fate. I never carry anything. Other than the tyre inflator obviously. I've never actually broken down in all my years of driving. Some of which were in a Ford and a FIAT! Not to mention the 5 Peugeots and 1 Citroen.
