If you are reasonably competent you can get the maps and firmware online for gratis, put them on a USB drive and update it yourself. I've used the same site for all of my Nav equipped Peugeots over the years, with no problems.

Isn't the pink dust due to a heat shield liner? Possibly the turbo heat shield, though don't take that as gospel.

Direct injection engines (read, Peugeot RCZ petrol in this instance) do suffer from carbon build up, as the fuel does not wash the valves as in a non DI engine. So it could well be yours needs a walnut blast. Although, I am just linking your issues with what I know. I'm not a mechanic.

I vaguely recall getting around 36/37 from my 200. So yours is very low. Have you checked things like binding brakes/handbrake?

Does it clatter for long? My understanding is the tensioners work on oil pressure so a small amount of noise from cold for a short period is ok. Mine rattled quite loudly and I got the chain, tensioners, guides and vvt sprockets replaced.

Can you get a video of the timing end from cold? Injectors on the thp are quite noisy anyway.
