There’s no wonder everyone’s panicking about the cost of living the media are hammering it, it’s a constant barrage which will make it worse in the long run as no one will go out and spend any money! 🤦♂️
You need to run it on premium fuel it really does make a difference, and rather than looking for a 200 later on just get the 156 remapped you’ll see a massive difference and better fuel economy too
Your probably gonna find a sack full of hens teeth first 😉😆
The only one I’ve heard of lately is from Steven Tan on the RCZ Malasia group he has had exact copies commissioned and will ship but not cheap he also has the rear twin exit defuser.

It’s common on these engines when run in short journeys mine was the same when I bought it also my wife had a Mini Cooper S with same engine and was the same but once driven for any length of time doesn’t return.

I think the darker lights you refer to are the Bluish tint to the xenon lights on the MK2
If you’ve a MK1 you would have to change the front bumper amongst other parts to make the swap like Pedro says cheapest option is to wrap.
Hi it’s impossible to know without getting some fault codes the slightest glitch can throw up a fault and put the car into limp mode some of these glitches can reset themselves usually within 3 times of the car being restarted.
