Hi,

My RCZ 156 has an engine warning message (on the central display and the radio screen but no engine warning light) and the car has gone into limp mode.

Yesterday I felt I slight stutter when I was accelerating. Does this mean it has something to do with the fuel pump?

Thanks for your help.

Hi it’s impossible to know without getting some fault codes the slightest glitch can throw up a fault and put the car into limp mode some of these glitches can reset themselves usually within 3 times of the car being restarted.

Don't quote me but if its the pump you will get the engine warning light as it may mean the engine is in danger of stalling (low fuel pressure) as Neil has said you need it plugged in to a scanner to get any readings
My 200 had a slight stutter on acceleration so I changed the PCV valve in the rocker cover & fixed it but this could be ether Electrical or mechanical glitch sometimes a plug or coil pack can cause this issue?
