I only ever used Diagbox or PP2k on my Peugeots. I made the mistake of taking one of my 407s to a "specialist" and they couldn't even access the dial cluster to remove the TPS flag that you need to when you fit rubber valves to them. So for about 2 months I kept getting beeps and flashing...
Probably nothing less than Diagbox/PP2k. Unless modern generic obd stuff is better than the ones I've used in the past.
I didn't have Diagbox when I had starter motor problems, so didn't have it on hand to play with.
One of my 407s did something like that. It would sometimes start fine, other times start, run for 5 seconds and then stop.
It was the starter motor.
Could be something to check.
It's amazing how different a car can look when you bring the wheels out a bit.
I have 20mm rear and 15mm front. I'm too tight to chuck thousands at new wheels and tyres 😂
I agree, my understanding is the R has components made of titanium? I had a 200 but would have liked an R. Very few for sale at any one point though so quite a rare thing. I think there was about 3/4 for sale at the time I looked.
Off topic, I'm from Grimsby too. You aren't the grey one I see...
The auto is 156 only. As far as I know it's a torque converter auto, so not like the DSG.
I'm not sure if it's a PSA box or like some other Peugeots, an Aisin Warner gearbox.
Actually, I just read it could be a Porsche gearbox.
