what about it ? It had one an was tracking along somewhere under the engine but I haven’t put any water in it in months an I do believe antifreeze leaves a stain , could have come from thermostat housing or water pump but has stopped inspector Clouseau 😂but when starts again it will be fixed …...
Maybe hpfp or lpfp located in the tank I would check this first then is there a spark at the plugs an get a Obd reader to see if there any faults stored

I had all these faults but crank sensor fingers crossed 🤞 I had new timing gear an a week later light came on so replaced vanos sensor an problem solved could this be the issue
Cost me to do them myself 720 discs 290 piston a seal kit an mintex pads at 30 something say all in for a 1.050 with decals. An two thousand miles on brakes are good an strong with even wear on the discs .
I had this same issue an it turned out to be the vanos Solenoid was to blame it had come loose in its casing causing it intermittently to trigger the engine management light it’s a easy fix .
