Haha exactly the same thing happened to me mate. Washed the car in Sunday given no rain forecast and it rained all last night and the whole way to work this morning. Luckily it didn't seem to make the car toooo dirty.
Great idea mate. There def need to be more pics on this forum!
Took these snaps after washing mine last.
Unfortunately it's filthy now as we got our first rain in ages!
If I had chosen, I would have picked some really wide 19s for mine, but I purchased it with 20s already fitted. They have been on the car for almost 5 years now. The ride is a little rougher, but not unbearable. Mine are 20x10, so nice and fat.
Up to you, but I do think 19s look big enough...
You can still achieve a relatively OEM look with an aftermarket double din sat nav system. They generally contain a much better nav that the peugeot system as said above also.
Not the best pic, but you get the idea.
My new RCZ
Spent the morning removing and reinstalling the head unit in order to replace the warped surround. Previously it looked like this (likely installed about 4-5 years ago):
I purchased a piano black double din replacement which is a perfect match for the factory dash. Looks MUCH...
Yes, I'm quite impressed with the Z economy. I averaged 6.1 liters per 100k on a recent road trip (all highway). Pretty impressive I thought. Averaging about 7 or so around town also which is amazing. That said, there is barely any traffic here, so commute is mostly highway.
Look forward to seeing the arches wrapped mate. You could try the copper metalizer dip. It'd be much cheaper than the wrap by the sounds of it and you choose the level / colour if the copper you want.
Hey all,
Just working out what the best products are to treat / protect the RCZ dash.
Does anyone know if it is actually leather, or a synthetic fabric? Does it need to be nourished like leather, or best to just out a protectant on it (like Aerospace 303).
Thanks in advance for your...
I was wondering this also, purely due to averaging 6.1 litres per 100km on a recent road trip. Given the size of the car I thought that was pretty impressive and wondered whether the aerodynamics had anything to do with this (particularly as mums 308 with the same engine doesn't get the same...
Great thread idea - Awesome pics of the Chev. Love that Aston.
When I was growing up the Lotus Elise was always my dream car. I have owned one for a number of years now and still absolutely love it (dream come true).
My unrealistic dream then became a 458 Italia, but after driving one on a...
