The only point of contact your beautiful RCZ has with the road is the tyres. For me, it is an absolute no brainier I would always go for the best tyres I could on a car like this.
I have Michelin PS4S all round. I have found them excellent for grip, road noise & handling. The longevity of any...
If you go ahead with this project, a few photos & description of what you do would be very helpful for other members that might consider this mod in the future.
It would also be very interesting to see what the performance would be like if you complete this.
What he said ⬆️ Also, never leave the oil long enough for the low oil light to come on. It’s too late if that happens. As Pedro said, check the oil level using the dipstick very regularly. Never overfill, but keep it as close to the Max mark as possible.
The Prince engine is very susceptible to...
Came across this the other day with my RCZ docs. It’s the original sales book. Probably not many still about especially in brand new condition...
It’s probably @ 30-40 pages.
It always makes me laugh that the first three quarters of the weather “forecast” is telling you what the weather has been already been like. Then when they actually get round to saying what’s to come, they try to be as vague as possible.
Tomorrow will see sunny spells with intermittent showers...
Definitely do all 4. I did all 4 & plugs when mine went. Unfortunately, as has been pointed out above, it can end up being the HPFP, which it did in my case.
No, you can’t do a BSI reset with the OBD II reader. You should be able to reset the codes though, but I think it depends on the reader you have.
Here is the BSI reset procedure:-
BSI reset....
Put the drivers window down, lift the bonnet & ensure all equipment is switched off.
Ensure all...
You might need an OBD II reader to reset the codes. I’m not sure whether or not the BSI reset will do it. I would give it a go first though as it can’t do any harm so long as it’s done correctly.
If the codes do return, at least you then know there is actually something wrong somewhere, and that...
My repair was delayed considerably because the dealer couldn’t source a pump. They had replaced the fuel rail, but couldn’t get a pump, either from another dealer in the U.K. or from Peugeot direct. It took a while.
The symptoms you have described could point to the HPFP but it could also be a coil pack that has gone. Did the car sound lumpy (like it was misfiring ?).
I replaced all four coil packs and plugs, but it soon became clear it was the HPFP. I had all the work done under my Peugeot Platinum...
Mine has the smaller steering wheel. It’s is definitely nicer to drive than the larger one. More responsive too. If I recall, one of the cars I test drove before buying mine (it is over 7 years ago now!) had the larger wheel. I noticed a difference when I drove one with a smaller wheel, but I...
You need to self isolate your car.
This will involve sitting inside it for 14 days and make sure it has a mask over its front grill. You could stick a swab up it's exhaust, but I don’t recommend it. 😷😱
I waited until I was having my wheels re-cut & got them to put me 2 new tyres on free at the same time 👍
I buy mine from Black Circles.com but I get Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S ........
I always think when it comes to wheels, the bigger the better (as far as looks go anyway). I have 19’s on my RCZ & 20’s on my Range Rover. I do think the ride quality is affected to a degree, but this (imho) is outweighed by the way the car looks.
Handling wise, I don’t think there is a great...
