In the 2013 GT200 it’s a gold metal dipstick similar in construction to the drain clearing “spring” type of device. It’s very difficult to read, especially if the oil hasn’t gone black.
If you wait until you get a low oil warning on RCZ’s it’s too late. If you wipe the dipstick, insert & remove it & hold it horizontal in front of you, you can see where the oil “sags” which gives an indication of the level.

I also can’t understand why you would want to complain that your wife’s car passed its MOT. That’s a new one on me.
As Kerr has said, if it’s something that you are concerned about, go back to the garage that said it was a problem and get them to fix it.
It sounds like it might be a good car to get, IF the points mentioned above are sorted.
I would be honest with the dealer and tell them that you have researched the car and that unless the advisories are rectified you will have to pull out of the deal.
