I see the car is on Autotrader now. It will be interesting to see how you get on.
Fish Brothers have reduced their car again and added a 3 year warranty. The other private sale car with 38,400 miles is now reduced to only £12,500. We are back up to 12 Rs on Autotrader. The car market is...
It was advertised at £22,000 was it not? I wonder if they got full asking price.
That car had very low mileage and looked straight out of the factory. That would have been bought and never used again. That was a collector's purchase.
The highest I've seen is £27,000 for a car with 2000...
Some dealers are getting good prices, but private sellers aren't. It has never been easy to sell an R privately. Don't use dealer adverts as a guide to private sale values.
If you want top price the car needs to be special. Your mileage isn't as low as other cars coming up. Mid range tyres...
Impossible to tell with the photographs.
I had a crankshaft oil seal fail. Oil started dropping on to the exhaust and there was lots of smoke out of the back of the car. I thought my engine had gone.
The engine bay was a mess with oil and it dripped everywhere. Luckily it wasn't a big fix...
Minimum wage for an adult(23+) is £9.50 per hour. A 38 hour week is £17,772. By the time you deduct the minimum contributions they are left with around £1350 per month.
Randomly picking a northern English city. Nottingham has an average rent of £860 and a median of £750 for a 1 bedroom flat...
It's quite hard not to talk about it when most people are. It is headline news.
A survey a few years ago found that 40% of adults had less than £100 savings. A lot of people spend every penny they have. Now with the price of everything going through the roof they genuinely can't pay the bills.
It's getting concerning watching the private sellers trying to undercut each other. There is a 62,000 mile car now reduced to £9999 and a 38,000 mile car reduced to £12,750 on Autotrader.
The cost of living crisis has to have an affect on car prices.
Personal choice.
It took me a while to click, but your centre caps aren't black.
A place local to me posted up some pictures of wheels powder coated in black gold. I would like to see R wheels on a R to judge.
Did you choose for the black to be glossy?
I'll need to get a refurbishment after the winter. I do like the diamond cut two colour finish, but it never lasts.
Traction control does not stop all wheelspin. You'll feel the wheels spinning and losing traction before the traction control kicks in. It still won't eliminate wheelspin totally.
I had to get mine reinforced as well.
I put my car in for tyres, servicing and an MOT and it had been in the care of three garages. I wasn't sure where it happened and had to get the repair myself.
I think I paid around £200. Certainly not more than £250.
As above the jacking points are...
There isn't any 16 plate Rs.
As a dealer you'll have access to Glass's guide. How does the guide value it retail and for trade in? Autotrader's guide is based on other cars for sale.
Some dealers are getting strong money for Rs. However private sales struggle and dealers go by the book for...
There is a guy in eBay that refurbishes them.
He was charging £150 if you send your pump and wait a few days. There was a small premium to pay of you want one off the shelf. Also a deposit until you return your old one.
I was asking what the problem was since the MOT tester flagged a coolant leak. Nothing more in it.
Mine is going fine. I've been using it much more than normal. I recently had the timing chain changed. I don't think there is any impending maintenance. I'd think my next bill will probably be...
