That's me and my Mazda RX8 on the shores of Lock Lomand (I think). Somewhere on the NC500 anyway :)
That's one reason I have my RCZ HDi now. Last time the fuel costs where as much as the accomodation 😄 Plus it's a beautiful car of course.
Can't wait to get up there in my HDi :D
Yeah it's a shame. Before transferring from FB it was very difficult getting everyone on here and confirming, so numbers were very hard to track, and then you have late comers, no offense :)
I hope you'll be tempted by the bigger venue next time.
You're welcome to try your luck. Enjoy the cars for 20mins and if anyone has dropped out you can nab their place. I already have two tables filled up and they don't have space for more :(
Sorry, but it's difficult. I'll try and get a bigger second table but if you're not too far away (or enjoy the drive) you might be best off popping along, enjoying some car chat and then seeing if there are any last minute cancellations (there often are with these things).
Hi All
Due to popular demand I've booked an extra table so we'll all squeeze in where we can :)
With a better idea of numbers for next time I may switch to a venue with more seating but for now everything is good to go :D
Hi All,
And after the stunning success of the first, the next Mildands Meetup is at The Clock Warehouse, Shardlow., April 2nd. Meet at 11:30am at the rear of the car park and admire each others cars till 12:15 and lunch :)
Cheers,
Will

Robert Woodley +1...
Some people worry about the increased wear of the extra power, but as we know there's a 200hp RCZ that comes as stock, and I'd be surprised if the transmission was upgraded for it, plus the extra power in practice would only occasionally get used :)
Just getting some quotes and making comparisons. Celtic tuning probably have the edge. I have myself the HDi which pulls like a mofo and the remap offers a 26% increase in torque/hp on paper, from 160hp to 200hp. probably too good to resist but I might wait 6 months and have it as a birthday...
Given that Peugeot have a stock 200hp RCZ already, and I doubt they redesigned the car for it, I'd be very surprised if that wasn't harmless. But I'm no expert :D
