So, I've had my RCZ for a couple of months, and I don't have a jack, will probably ring the AA if I were to need a wheel change.
Out of interest though, does the jack that is specific to the car have a unique shape or fitting that mates with the car's jacking point?
Looking under the car, there...
I had a problem last Friday when I came out of work at 12.00. The temperature in the car was around 30 degrees so I hit the Auto button with both temps set to '14'. This normally results in a fast blast of cold air. This time, all I got was warm/hot air. I had to open the windows to get the...
Just thought I'd mention I had my rims refurbished last week at Perfection Alloys in Leicester and they did an excellent job. (I don't get commission..).

Thanks guys. The 'Peugeot' greeting message has returned. I notice however that sometimes in the morning after being parked overnight, the screen is blank and I'm in economy mode. My car spent last week on a four-poster having the rims refurbished but started no problem. I think though that the...
Just a quick question, normally my centre display says 'Peugeot' when I unlock the car. Recently it has stopped and I just have a blank screen until I put the key in and turn it, then get normal display. Been off the road for a week having rims done.
Economy mode thing or similar?
Thanks,
KG
I appreciate your help. Hopefully I won't need your instructions for many years, but always good to know.
Yesterday I noticed a small 'nodule' on the underside of driver's side door mirror, like half a small black grape. I'm intrigued....a sensor of some kind...?

Thanks for your reply. Any idea on the ability to change the TPMS settings? Looked in the manual and there's no mention of this capability in the vehicle configuration menu...
Hi, I have a TPMS question...apologies if it's already been answered....I have a 2014 1.6L 156 RCZ which I bought very recently. Hadn't even heard of TPMS!
Is it possible to alter the tyre pressures that the system monitors in a menu somewhere, or are the tyre pressures 'hard coded' on this...
Hi, could anyone recommend any independent garages in Leicester who are RCZ specialists and you are confident to leave your car with?
No problems, but always good to have access to someone who knows their stuff.
Is there any way of telling if my car has received the temp sensor/thermostat housing/cable, 'modified modification'?
If not, I'll mention it next time I'm in for the pre-winter check-up.
Hi, where IS the temperature sensor on my 1.6 GT 156?
I don't have the black square device on the side of the expansion tank (although molding is there) with wires that plug into it, but do have a 'sensor' that goes into the side of the expansion tank with a 'flying lead'. Maybe this is a fluid...
Won't they have to remove the valves/tpms as part of the refurb...sandblasting, dipping etc? Do they just have to be left in situ and covered up or something? Mind you, I guess an alloy wheel refurbishment specialist must know what they're doing!
Nope, no squirter that pops out, so I guess that means no vision pack, and I have halogens.
Pretty sure I have TPMS though as a symbol was on when I went to see the car and disappeared when the tyre was inflated. That must mean that TPMS valve stems CAN be the bendy rubber type....?
Above it says TPMS is only available on GT models as part of the vision pack. I have a GT model and TPMS. Does mean I must have Xenon headlights....How can I tell?
Hi, I'm taking my car in to have all four alloys refurbished. The guy said the tyre valves are all rubber which indicates the sensors are probably the sort that are attached elsewhere in the rim. Is this correct, or are they actually attached to the valves?
Related question, where are the units...
That's really helpful. Thanks!
Reading the manual, it seems to suggest that both front and rear parking sensors are switched on and off with the dash button.
It also says that the rear parking sensors have to be switched on and off via the configuration menu. Because the manual applies to all...
