Just a quick question, normally my centre display says 'Peugeot' when I unlock the car. Recently it has stopped and I just have a blank screen until I put the key in and turn it, then get normal display. Been off the road for a week having rims done.
Economy mode thing or similar?

Thanks,
KG

Just a thought, but have you tried cycling through the display types by pushing the button on the end of the right stalk?

Economy mode will cause this issue not enough power in the battery?

Economy mode comes on if car hasn't been started for a week or so as car goes into this mode to save on power drain to battery as alarms take power and can start to drain the battery...... You can put on a fully charged battery New And after a week or so you will get this message.. If you're not driving it put it on trickle charge.. Or give it a good run now and again..

The Economy mode message can come on at any time mine comes on when it pleases and that’s with a newish healthy battery like the Verminator said a week or so without being started can bring it on.

Thanks guys. The 'Peugeot' greeting message has returned. I notice however that sometimes in the morning after being parked overnight, the screen is blank and I'm in economy mode. My car spent last week on a four-poster having the rims refurbished but started no problem. I think though that the prudent thing to do is have a new battery fitted before winter, as the current one is probably 8 years old, and they don't last forever.
