Not going to lock my R up just yet, I’m still enjoying it too much, the low mileage example for sale looks good but pictures not doing it any favours, someone clearly has more important things, if I was in the market i would want to see better pics, you guys are probably right it will go to a...
Hi mate, I only ever fill up with shell V power, the R runs well with the premium stuff in, always used it in performance engines, it’s supposed to have more cleaning properties in it. If you do start using V power, get the Shell app for rewards
As already mentioned crankshaft oil seal likely culprit, I’ve had them when someone has changed the timing chain and the guide rail bolts leak if not tightened or the rubber oil rings not changed. Good luck with it
HI matey, hope you are well, I don’t suppose you remember what front brake pads you put in the R, they are getting low and need replacing soon,
not done many miles in it, just done the leaking thermostat housing, was surprised it was the original one, absolute bitch of a job to do,
what are you...
sorry to hear your bump mate, have been through this before, the insurer will probably write it off because a new bonnet and bumper will be very expensive to replace new, paint, fitting etc all +vat.
so if they write it off, they will offer you a figure, make sure you tell them you want to buy...
I would firstly change your spark plugs with a decent brand, bosch or ngk, it’s common for a high rev range misfire when one of the spark plugs are faulty, regardless if they were changed at the last service interval I would start there

Hi all, my mate has got a Peugeot 208 gti 200bhp model, it’s come up with “battery charge fault, stop the vehicle” in red on the dash, assuming it is similar or identical to the set up in the rcz has anyone come across this error before.
any help would be much appreciated before we throw money...
agreed with prices, I bought my R early 2023 and prices have dropped a bit, the difference between a £10k car and a £15k one is a big gap.
I thought Cazoo had gone bust
It seems that the cheaper R’s have all disappeared from auto trader, presumably all sold leaving the lower mileage examples still for sale, plus the hideous orange wrapped one!
good luck with those guys on here selling theirs, it’s very quiet in the trade at the moment and cars don’t seem to be...
Yes definitely good luck with selling your Red one, trouble Is are there many private buyers out there that will buy off a private seller, I did as i think you will hunt out a looked after cherished example, but alot of people would prefer an inferior example off a trader/dealer that is offering...
Yes it does mate, I was only commenting one the white one because it’s new on autotrader, I really do like them in red,
when I was looking for an R I really wanted one in white, red or grey and ended up with a black one!
