    Model Query.

Not really the 200 and sport have the bigger front brake discs, what about satnav and black pack? (Full gloss black grill and black powder coated callipers)

Our much loved RCZ HDI GT

I’ve seen your photos on the owners group pages crikey she’s been lucky, glad she’s on the mend, I’ve seen some other owners photos of wrecks and your right the RCZ can take a battering and still protect its occupants.

    Suspension nightmare...

You need to find a specialist garage because those prices you’ve been quoted are crazy

    Suspension nightmare...

Yes the standard suspension is Bilstein and you can buy a full Bilstein coilover kit for not much more than the standard kit and it’s far superior, that’s what I did as y cars almost 13 years old and it were just a matter of tie before I broke a spring.

    Model Query.

Is yours a 156 or 200? With what your saying the logbook is either wrong or someone’s had the car fully specced up which would have cost the same as a GT so not sure

You want to be using 5W-30 in the HDI

    Recommended coolant?

As long as it’s the right spec colour doesn’t matter as long as you don’t mix the two there are now clear products that you can top up with on either colour.

    Engine misfire

If it’s only when cold it could be the intake valves sticking slightly due to carbon build up.

    Engine oil

Personally I would stick to the Peugeot recommendation 0W - 30 for the petrol and 5w-30 for the diesel, I use the Total ineo first oil for my petrol and it’s had nothing else in 9 years of ownership. Some tinkers who want to be seen as experts may disagree? 😆

Battery charge or electrical supply faulty

Where you located? I’ve got a secondhand control unit that I took off a breaker as a spare but I could send you it to try if you promise to return it to me

    General negativity towards the RCZ

My 2010 launch edition doesn’t rattle and knock at all and it’s almost 13 years old as for reliability it had a timing kit at 17k and I’ve been running a stage one remap for around 7 years now with no problems at all it doesn’t use oil it doesn’t leak either oil or coolant 🤗

    Rear Spoiler Issue.

I bought a full boot lid with spoiler motor and third brake light delivered for £160!

Engine Fault - Repair Needed - High Pressure Fuel Pump

I believe Peugeot now offer an upgraded part as well as the old one which why were seeing conflicting prices for the pump
