Guessing electric control buttons??
A switch panel can be picked up cheap enough from eBay from which you can decide to either pry them off or change the panel.
Although there are some expensive ones on there too...
I don’t have any water in the boot, I last was in at the spare area less than two weeks ago, and hope it’s the same today.
i have had a few RCZ’s in the household over the years and can’t recall any of them letting in water.
We have had plenty of rain to test the seals the last while back. Don’t...
Welcome onboard, nice car and a fun place to take it to for a play.
You do have another problem that would send my OCD into quite a spin, your rear number plate is not straight.
The only thing that comes to mind is that you might be hitting an incorrect button jumping you out to main menu……ask me how I know…
Hopefully it is something like this and you get sorted.
Unfortunately seen that before on a 1.6 thp 150 (not a Z) foam builds up, sometimes gets through the system but instead of oil working hydraulically it sponges. Ended up changing the vanos and solenoid as two oil changes with a flush additive in the first didn’t clear it through.
But it’s the...
Before you remap it’s best to know it’s in good health.
I have a 156 and don’t find it sluggish at all. Being a direct injection engine and having spent years tootling about it could be in need of the inlet valves cleaning and a very thorough service. Then a bit of gradual Italian tuning to blow...
Welcome to the forum.
I want to do something like that, even just something with the exhaust without the valves, then the bore in me comes out again.
If you do go ahead make sure you post something up.
Would love to, but ours are gov test centres all doing the same tests with the same machines.
Even England/Scotland/Wales have a bit of choice compared to us, boo hoo me.
Those blocks you made look a good job and support in many places. Pity others didn’t take the same level of care we try to take with our cars.
When I bought my Z it had both fronts squashed so I set about fixing them, cleaned, stripped, spot welded painted etc and was chuffed that the finish...
For the tupence it’s worth my 308cc (same Ep6 engine as my Z) reached 50k at 15years old and I took the decision to do the chain for age rather than the miles. Useless bit of info, at initial release the RCZ was to be called 308 RCZ, but then the numbers were dropped on release of the model.
Car...
If you do go ahead with it, let us know if there are any pitfalls.
I have also considered the aluminium rocker cover too, but you hear from the nay camp before the yeah with all these things.
Not the news you wanted I am sure.
There may be as yet unseen damage to the engine block, you could put a new head on and still have further troubles. I keep recalling you had mentioned that the car had a lack of decent servicing. That information would lead me to look for an engine if it was...
Mode = super sport mode, with a touch of nitros. Awkwardly positioned meaning you have a hand off the wheel just as the boost kicks in, slightly frightening if you ask me, but exhilarating at the same time.
But sadly not……..it is just screen menu usb, Bluetooth, Aux selection.
i have a 156 and am more that happy with it. Had 200 before and had same issues as any 1.6 prince engine, just more stuff crammed into it.
the (dirty) diesel is potentially the most reliable unit, but still has its own set of watch points. just like any car brand out there.
History and...
Your determined I’ll give you that, my patience might have cut out sooner, good on you.
If it helps, the workings of the RCZ mirror are the same as the 308cc, the plastic outer shells and bowl and foot are different shapes but the gubbins inside is the same. Look at my wee photo to the left if...
