Going to try an experiment, see what the current drain is whilst not running - a process of elimination. Also carrying a set of Jump leads at all times.
Its a Peugeot after all !
Looking for some information.
Sometimes when entering the car - the "Economy Mode Active" message appears in the display when turning on the ignition. Other times it does not.
I have a dash cam fitted - but that is powered from the cigarette lighter and I know it turns off a few seconds after...
I'm not 100% sure that wear indicators are fixed to the front pads....GSF online parts say
"Wear Warning Contact not prepared for wear indicator"

Seems a bit on the expensive side, the only genuine Peugeot part will be the belt. None of the fitting will be difficult or require Peugeot tools - even your local Halfords / Quikfit / Garage can do this without any difficulty.
I think I may be about the same age, Loved F1 when they actually raced - with the likes of Ayrton Senna, James Hunt, Niki Lauda. Great racing and great personalities.

A young man at Halfords did a battery change for me. I thought he was going to need a hammer and chisel to remove the plastic cover from the battery. Took 2 blokes 15 minutes to finally do it.
I'm with Cuore Sportive - Watch footy and let someone else do the hard work.

Seems to do the same thing - and you get 2 Litres of foam with it.
I bought the EmanualOnline program. Its got everything you need, Parts, Instructions, diagrams etc.

Put a sheet of cardboard under the engine overnight - check for a slow leak.
Then get a pressure test done at a local garage - should cost only a few pounds - and have a close look inside the oil filler cap - look for the dreaded sludge.
Hopefully its a simple issue like a damaged hose.

Lovely part of the world you occupy - after driving my RCZ through the Llanberis path I cant wait to get back up there.
I'm no expert but here's my tuppence worth:
Only happens when warm/hot - maybe the Gearbox oil level is too low or the wrong type. A change of oil should not cost too much so maybe give it a try first.
As for a "notchy" gear change - Mine is the same, Peugeot said it was normal for a "sporty"...
Only caught a glimpse - but an RCZ with logo's on it at Dartmouth near the lower ferry - and a spoiler. It looked magnificent.
I'm sure I saw it on the coast road to Slapton a few days before.
Can anyone recommend a well fitting heatshield to place inside the windscreen. Its like an oven in this lovely weather.

That would happen if you were using oversized tyres - but It looks like 235/40/19 in the picture. Check and make sure there are no spacers fitted on the front wheel - especially if fitted one side only.
Be careful if you try to remove the rear view mirror. Its a pain to get it back in place correctly.
To fit my Dashcam, just to the left of the console - I tucked the wire under the roof lining down behind the A pillar cover, behind the glovebox and into the radio.
I am running 235/40/19 - I wanted to fit 245/40/19 - very little circumference difference. Rears were ok - but the front larger tyres interfered with the wheel arch. Especially on full lock.

I wonder if the wires leading to the sensor are shorting out. Have a look inside the electrical connector (the bit that plugs on to the sensor) see if there is an obvious "bridge" between the pins.
