If you're worried about replacing the discs on your R then I wouldn't go near owning a 40K Aston, yep it's £40K but it's still the £100K car to maintain......have you looked at the servicing, parts and ownership costs for those?! The £40K purchase is the 'easy part' (4yrs ago they were sub £30K)...

or do what Busso did from GTV City in Scotland broke the whole car for parts, reckon you would make a fair old whack. wheel's went for nearly a £1K the seats for about the same!

The price of the pads is nuts I picked up a set of Textar/TMD Friction for around £40-50 OE spec as R has same Alcon calipers as on SC Jag. Textar make pads for Porsche Audi Bentley etc. Haven't fitted them yet though.

yep got a couple off of ebay, and some rubber inserts for my trolley jacks.....work well and no more ground or marked sills (or damage to RCZ cheese type variety)

Well it's fuel, air or spark.....and you seem to have altered all of them on your car. My advice would be to return to standard especially junk the 'custom air intake' and have a 'reliable car' but failing that go to a tech and mapper that know what they are doing as could be multitude hpfp...

I'm well up on my R given the current prices to what I paid for her; im not interested in buying any more cars. Recently sold a car I have had for 7 years for over double what I paid including running costs. Market is buoyant.

Cost circa £550+ pw in UK last time i looked were some from a Czech Peugeout Dealer/Site for around £260+ pw w/out delivery but now has 20% surcharge due to that great Brexit idea.....

waste of time imo what you looking for is almost negligible or no difference in performance for ££££s' on it's own, I stuck a panel filter in it and reckon that was pretty pointless too. Warranty issues would stop me doing anything else and at nigh on 270bhp in a 1.6 I think the R has plenty...

The matte roof looks really nice with the gloss white bodywork and matte arches. Red R on Autotrader with circa 37K near me from Yeoman's Pug MD in Bexhill E Sussex just shy of £18K. Looks nice
