Will do. My car is currently in the shop for an unrelated issue but sadly they were not able to duplicate the issue with the steering wheel - thats why I’m looking for possible other options.
I changed the waterpump, tensioner and the belt (waterpump, ac, powersteering) in the summer. It was great.
Then after a month, the steering wheel started to vibrate when at low RPM. First gear and reverse are problematic. I can feel extensive vibration turning the wheel at 1-2k RPM. If I...
P1336 - Crank/Cam sensor range/performance or misfire on several cylinders -> could be HPFP and could also be timing issue
P1337 - Same as 1336 only different cylinder
P1339 - Same as 1336 only different cylinder
P0301 - Misfire Cylinder 1 -> most likely HPFP
I find it extremely unlikely, that...
POI were removed from this version of the maps. There is a version with 2016 POI but the link is dead currently on the site that I source the maps. I would suggest you wait, until the 2022 version launches and I’ll source the version with 2016 POI if it’s available.
That's not the distance travelled screen but a "Trip Screen".
On the central display you have 5 screens (1. speed screen, 2. first trip screen, 3. second trip screen, 4. navigation screen and 5. empty screen).
If you want to delete the 9999 and restart the count - press and hold the top button...
What can also destroy the coils is a sudden surge of energy from the alternator. Sometimes when the car is switching power distribution from the battery to the alternator the surge can burn out the coil. Energy surges and spikes usually happen with a dying battery (giving wrong signals to the...
There was no central undertray for the petrol engines. Checked with multiple dealers. Central undertray (part number 1) was only available on diesel models.
If you have it on the petrol (the screw points are the same) it was either installed custom or by mistake.
If the speed cameras show the wrong speed, the mistake is in the files themselves.
No solution here other than wait for the possible fix in the future update.
If you are removing the wing mirror plastic to paint or wrap it.
Spray some silicone oil on the back of the glass part. The mine driver seat side was completely stuck on the holder and I ended up pulling out the stalks that set the mirror electronically.
Luckily is not a fatal mistake as I...
Absolutely none. I have a AUX to BT receiver (USB kind) plugged under the armrest. No background noise whatsoever when changing between FM, AUX, even when it disconnects momentarily.
Amplifier is in the boot on the right side (there is a small rectangular opening, right next to the right rear light). I do not have any background noise from my SatNav.
How logical is to replace timing chain at the same time you replace the valve stem seals? As I understand, you have to take it out either way as you have to remove the cams.
The car is on 120k with the original timing chain.
Waiting for you buying the Vocomo.
To answer your question - yes, its possible to replace NG4 with RT6, but you need to replace both, the unit and the screen.
Make sure you do the full format (FAT32, max size of the USB 32GB) just before you copy the files onto the USB stick. Mine would not accept the files if it wasn't a full format. Another car did not even require a quick format. Just swapping files easily. It seems those NG4 units have a bit of a...
