By purchasing some additional tech, you can get Apple CarPlay on your screen. But its a bit of an expensive task.

POI search is not working overall with these maps.

I did not have any issues with postcodes with 2023-1. It is catered to EUROPE WEST (so yes, UK included).

You have to remove the HDD to do that. It is also a bad idea, I would replace the HDD with a CF Card if you have such issues. LINK

Hm, I never had issues with unit restarting. This seems like HDD issue and the update was written on an area with bad sectors. I'd try a factory reset only.

These are the downloaded Eastern Europe 2020 maps? I have not tested those. Can you rename the file to md5 and then open it as text? Does it show md5 hashes for all the files?

Yes. It should be .md5 as this file checks and verifies the structure of the files. Have you renamed it yourself or was it like this?

Please check if you have any hidden files in the root of the USB stick. If you used the thumb drive before with any MAC device, there are some hidden files probably there.

If you wish to Install Bulgaria, please install the Eastern European 2020-2 maps. This issue tells you that you have some issues in the folder structure.

If you are using MAC, please try on a windows machine. MAC usually puts some hidden files into the root of the USB (which then results in the error).
