I have had these LEDs in my Brake/Rear side lights and front DRLs for two years. No flashing and no issues with Canbus. I have bought spares for both and not even had to use them yet.
Halfords 382 P21W for the DRLs
Halfords 380 P21/5W for the brake/side lights
The Halford ones are fabulous it...
The picture you provided of what files to transfer to USB stick were fabulous. The update has worked great I will do the Alerts tomorrow.
Many thanks for being so helpful and finding the file in the first place.👏👏👏
Hi. I only downloaded the maps zip file and fat 32 formatted a 32gig USB stick and a 32gig SD card. I checked the hidden files and there were non showing. So I unzipped the maps into both drives. Tried the SD card first in the car and the head unit did not recognise it there was no automatic...
My display says N42,03 but I dont know what it was prior to when I updated it last year. Do you have to update the frimware prior to updating the maps?
After downloading the Maps files I tried your method with a new 32Gig SD card then a new 32 Gig Pendrive. I followed your instructions to the letter but nothing worked. Bearing in mind Ive done this before with USB sticks and CD's with the genuine software, so I am familiar with the process...
The USB plug under the arm rest is to update the system only it won't read music to play. If you want to update the maps/firmware/speed camera alerts you have to buy the the update kit off ebay. Its approx £30 and has two CDs and two USB memory sticks. It takes a while to complete and will only...
My drivers seat has two ripples in it but the passenger one is fine. I'm not sure if the constant heating and cooling of the leather by the heated seat element is the cause or just poor manufacturing. My previous cars with leather were definitely not as bad. I wouldn't recommend going anywhere...
Get the derv mate. Much more reliable if your not good with the spanners. The petrols need looking after. like a baby with regular and at least annual oil changes or six monthly if your doing 12k a year.I have a petrol and do all my own servicing and repairs where tools and equipment allow...
I agree wholeheartedly about the maintenance and oil. We may all have stood a better chance of reliability if they had started off with the stronger R engine which was an improvement for the Prince engine.
Indeed I've heard that story about the tensioner/guides. Wonder why they keep failing then in mk2s and R's as well. No official factual data or figures I guess just forum and Facebook comments.
That's a rather sweeping statement that is difficult to substantiate in the real world. However, the numbers built of each mk1 and 2 could attribute to that. Plus you have to add in the use of the car. Some owners like myself dont use it as a daily drive. And as such a weekend car can provide...
That's amazing with the amount of MK2's suffering from the same fate with the chain/guides. That must be attributed to poor maintenance then. If the part numbers are available for the "New guides" and "Tensioner" I'm sure that would help owners no end to ensuring that when they require both of...
Cant say I'm suprised really. There seems to be some kind of false theory that later models have a better tensioner and stonger guides. Dont know where that came from or what evidence there is to substantiate that.I'll happily stand corrected if proven wrong. However, no matter what year these...
Surely the catch can needs to be on the other side of the engine cover. The turbo side just supplies air from that pipe into rocker cover. Then it goes though the PCV valve inside the rocker cover and comes at the back left side of the rocker cover and sends the air and oil mist into the...
I'm a big fan of the new logo as I never liked the old Lion anyway a great move forward in my opinion. But I've never had
an affinity with Peugeot's anyway just the RCZ model. I went for the decal version with no shield.
Its not the first time Ive seen odd ball stuff on the 156. The Pug Service box for example gives two diferent part numbers for the throttle body pipe. Mine has one complete pipe from Intercooler to Throttle body which is a bitch to get off. And some cars have that same pipe in two parts.
Also...
Not on mine Tom and mines the same as yours. There is already a PCV valve in the rocker cover so this would just provide two valves for the same job. Very curious and something I havnt seen before I wonder if its for an RCZ?
Anyone bought a road wheel security clamp or uses one? Ive been looking around but very few fit the wheel size. I found a Bulldog branded one just wondered if anyone uses it or any other? Cheers TIA
