Sorry can't help with the part number but I took mine to bits when repairing the cable. During that process a plastic clip on the facia broke off when I was putting it back together. I used a double sided sticky pad to hold it in place. It's been fine for two years.
These are on mine bought three years ago. I had to repair one side as they lifted at the ends. Originally bought from Ebay for approx £28 I think but the seller seems to have left that platform now. The link in that post above seem to have them now but really over priced.
Fascinating read. A catch can should have been fitted from new in my opinion by Peugeot. Please update again in the future so we can see if over a period of time it does actually catch a lot of oil. Your right about that air intake. On a 156 the only thing blocking it from the engine is the...
The regular £25 OBD II readers dont tend to read or display ABS faults. Make sure whatever you get states as above that it does read the ABS system. It is possible as mentioned it's dirt in the sensor. Because the fault is not permanent I'd say it was a dirty sensor. I have had the same fault on...
I have had work done on my brakes at Benz Auto's near Birkenhead North station. They are Merc and Pug independent specialist. Give them a ring they were great with me. There may be other but that's the only one I found.
I replaced mine (and it came off easily) when I changed the turbo inlet pipe from the air filter. A new one was actually attached to the new turbo inlet pipe and that also included a black spring clip.
My PCV pipe in that location has a black metal sprung clip no idea if its OEM but its tight on. So I guess you could buy one off Ebay. As for the front intercooler pipe bolt, I took mine off last year to do work on the back of the engine and its either a 10mm or 8mm bolt fairly common to get...
The fake brake cooling fins are just too cheap for me a bit like folk putting Brembo plastic covers on the brake calliper's.
The rear spoiler is just dreadful and I dont know what's going on with front end it's lost the sharp shark outline to the stubby
Audi look. It should be on the Barry Boys...
They didn't do my timing chain. Tony replaced my brake booster and master cylinder £200. He was surprised when I told him what car it was that I wasn't asking for the timing chain to be done 🤣
Benza Autos Birkenhead. The guy there knows the engine he's an independent Peugeot specialist. He did a job for me about 18 months ago.
Give him a ring think his name was Tony. Its not far from Birkenhead North station if you visit dont be put off by the amount Mercs outside because he also does...
I used a 8mm ratchet ring spanner its the only way I could find to get at it from above. Reach right down the back of the engine with the spanner and you will feel a circlip around the hose with an 8mm head. TBH it comes off pretty easy once you get the clip off just pull and twist it. To get it...
I have changed my tensioner as the old one was leaking oil out around the washer. If yours didn't come out in one piece then it sounds like it was shot to bits and your lucky you caught it in time. I locked the engine via the top hole on the gear box bell housing with a locking tool. Its a bit...
£156 is a competitive price too. That may indeed find some interest on here I paid over 200 Euros had to get one from Holland. Do you have a good stock and is there a good supply chain or are these end of line on the top shelf gathering dust?
There is one in the UK and besides the doors its the best looking UK RCZ I've seen a picture of. No idea of the variant but the Blue colour scheme and doors just make it look amazing. Not over the top just right.
If there is a leak in the system somewhere i.e. condenser, pump fault, pressure lines then this wont work. It's purely for topping up. The instructions explain what the pressure should be before and after topping up. For example if its a low reading before and after re filling it with the Gas...
You can open it but you have to take it off to do it. The head of it fits tightly into a triangle metal plug and twists on a plastic bracket to get it out. Once out you have to undo the cable into the mirror that works the dimmer. When you have it out you then have to split the unit that is not...
I'm not sure of your level of competence with maintenance but mine wasn't as cool as it should be last year. So I bought the pressure gauge and Gas refill can off Ebay and did it myself for £30. Obviously when you use all the can you still have the pressure gauge and connector to use again so...
