its a 14 plate on 18500 miles... I find it on every weekly wash..

Has anyone else seen pink powder deposit on the top of the engine. It seems to eminate from back of the turbo heat shield and disperse towards the rear, it ends up on the air filter box ... photo to follow.

Try Duraglit or Silvo. They are silver polish's that come on a pre oiled wadding. Its not abrasive. Worked on my GTs..silver arches..

Where are you getting the R wheels refurbed? I have looked into having mine done but the places I have been are retisent about doing them .. They say there not dimond cut originals and the painting and masking off would make the cost vast.. I think that diamond cut effect would be the best..

Both my GT and R howl when cold on clutch use.. usually its from standing.. Took my GT back to the dealer telling them to look for a slipping aux belt... They could not reproduce it.. Its a noise.. embarrassing on a crowded street...

Today Red R heading from Highworth towards lechlade, think I glimpsed it yesterday in Swindon... Then a black GT with silver arches and one DRL....on the same road. Then a dolpin Blue in Wootton Bassett..

Beware the paint fade issue. Your car is 3 years old so it shouldn't effect it that much. I have removed trim badges in the past and had a slight ghosting of the letters. A white car is probably the best colour for not showing though.

3 Zs today.. non for weeks. 2 were white ( one withe a solid black stripe running front to back) and 1 all black on the roads around Royal Wotton Bassett and Cricklade in Wiltshire. This was on Tuesday 14th March around 6 pm.. I'm in the Grey R if anyone is on here...

The ride difference between my Old 156 GT and the new R is definitely noticeable..The R is an alround more refined experience. Go get the R... :twisted:

So.. Took my R to the main dealer for ab opinion on the paint finish on my drivers side roof arch. I have the matt black finished ones and the drivers side one was loosing its finish. In the area from the bonnet up the A pillar the finish was flaking off. I know the R is swift but it shouldn't...
