Mystery deposit on R engine.

Has anyone else seen pink powder deposit on the top of the engine. It seems to eminate from back of the turbo heat shield and disperse towards the rear, it ends up on the air filter box ... photo to follow.

Is yours new?
I just googled it and it could be mineral wool that isolates the turbo?

its a 14 plate on 18500 miles... I find it on every weekly wash..

What shade of pink is it ?

Its a light pink...
