A dude in Oz stated that the THP200 and THP270 RCZ's use a high flow fuel filter, prior to the high pressure fuel pump..
Could these be the ones?
Could it be this:

or this:

Found the fuel filter on my RCZ THP200, but it’s not like the one I ordered. It is located on the right hand side just in front of the rear wheel.
Ordered this (as per Pug Service Box): https://www.buycarparts.co.uk/peugeot/r ... uel-filter
However, the current filter looks more like this...
Well, well. Then my Red Line theory might be true.
Very interesting.
Two litres for about forty quid.

Be rest assured now, I'll do a Red Line tranny oil change on the RCZ in the next few weeks.
If anyone wants help to do themselves...
I have a hunch as to why the Tart's MA5 gearbox lasted well for 50K kilometres with no forkin' oil.
Short trips during that time and I had previously replaced the gearbox oil twice before with Red Line.
It may have been this oil, that coated the cogs so well. Red Line uses base stock jet...
HORROR STORY.
In 2015, I foolishly went to a private Pug/Citroen mechanic to replace the clutch on the French Tart (207cc Sport THP150).
They drained the gearbox fluid in order to get at the bell housing, etc.
They did a crap job, with the clutch shuddering after the work was done, so I took...
OK. New Monroe shocks fitted to the 207cc Sport. (well, little sister to RCZ).
Did I notice a difference?
YES!
The improvement was between 15-20% in overall handling/ride/noise.
Took a sharp sweeper and was used to a slight roll, but it was gone.
After 90,000 miles it's time to change...
True in some, probably most, but Oz RCZ's came fitted with an in-line filter as well. Sits (attached to the under body), in front of the rear right wheel.
This is the part number I was given by Peugeot Service Box for my VIN.

More Oz...
Mine spat the dummy at 38,000 kilometres. (approx 24,000 miles)
I think, besides the checks mentioned below, that the fuel filter needs changing more often. The Oz Pug RCZ service booklet states fuel filter changes every 30,000 kilometres (18,700 miles).

Right on. Watch out for those Amsterdam cookies . . .
I remember I went into a 'coffee shop' feeling miserable from my experience with a RaceChip, but left a few hours later elated and craving for a serve of Whitby fish & chips.
Cheers.
I think it is a 'boy racer' product, which RaceChip are making money from.
Then why does not Peugeot offer one?
Answer: Warrenty Returns, limp mode, no difference in power, fans operating continuously, engine check codes. Or if you are lucky you might find one that 'might' work, like you...
I had to get a PayPal dispute process ignited to get my money back from those RaceChip bustards. They were absolute shockers.
Get your money back quick and forget about this stuff. I did.
When you think of the $millions car manufacturers invest in their software systems, then along comes...
I am aware that some punters 'experience', with these aftermarket chips, a difference; but you also need to add in the 'placebo' factor . . . After all spending 300 quid, you 'make' yourself feel a difference.
Check this out. It will scare, or surprise, or infuriate you. :helpme: Or even...
