Gave the RCZ a top class external clean. Wonder Wheels spray for the 19" wheels. Then wash and leather shammy dry.
Then used the Maguires Clay Bar kit and gave the whole paint the clay bar touch. Amazing what crud comes off with the clay bar process.
Then applied AUTOGLYM Superior Resin...
The RCZ THP200 got a code yesterday. Code P1339.

So, I phoned my master Pug mechanic, Wayne Botha (Gold Coast - 0413 942 026), and asked his advice. Straight away he told me it was a faulty ignition pencil coil. And then said that I could take the four out of the French Tart to...
Hi All, I spent an arduous morning doing the above oil change.
Phew! To get to the filler plug is horrendous. Battery removal was time consuming. Finally at the filler hole and disconnect one of the two gear linkages.
Underneath, easy-peasy. In the attached video the dude removed his cross...

Bridgestone, Dunlop once produced this size tyre - 195/55/14. Nice little 14" fatty . . .
Now no more.
My Red Jett, (Pulsar N14 SSS), which I keep the stock wheels because they look so great, needs these tyres. Tyre shops want to sell me the 185/60/14 size - yuck!
No such tyre size...
When I turn off the RCZ's engine, sometimes the engine fans stay on for 20 seconds, other times for a minute. No codes.
Any reason for the time different?
Cheers.
Being an ex-Radio dude from the 1970's, I send out music vibes from the past.
Here is a recent one for your listening pleasure:
Listening to Tony Blackburn on BBC2 (afternoon in Oz) - ex 1960's Radio Caroline DJ - spinning the hits. Seen the movie, 'The Boat that Rocks'?
Radio 6PM (Perth...
Aussie brochure - circa 2011.
Notice the colour name change from Dolphin Blue to Tuanake Blue. Most likely the Aussie GREENS would have kicked up a stink, because we have millions of dolphins around the coast. Interesting.
Actually, for the aficionados . . .Tuanake or Mata-rua-puna is a...
I decided to replace the security locking bolts with standard ones.
However, when I replaced them, I felt a vibration/slight grinding through the steering wheel and accelerator pedal, when turning left or right.
So I removed the replacement 'standard' bolt to realise a slight difference. The...
Found the fuel filter on my RCZ THP200, but it’s not like the one I ordered. It is located on the right hand side just in front of the rear wheel.
Ordered this (as per Pug Service Box): https://www.buycarparts.co.uk/peugeot/r ... uel-filter
However, the current filter looks more like this...
HORROR STORY.
In 2015, I foolishly went to a private Pug/Citroen mechanic to replace the clutch on the French Tart (207cc Sport THP150).
They drained the gearbox fluid in order to get at the bell housing, etc.
They did a crap job, with the clutch shuddering after the work was done, so I took...
