    New to the peugeot rcz

Welcome to the forum, going for the diesel is a good shout , the engine has a solid reputation for reliability. The other irritations you'll get you would probably get from any 7 year old car. There are some knowledgeable owners on this forum{I'm not one of them I'm afraid} so I'm sure someone...

To have car warranty or not to have

This is an insurance so if there is a way of getting out of paying up they will so read all the small print and cap on liability £25 per month is small beans if something big goes bang but best to know what you getting for the money. 2.0 hdi has a good reputation so I would be more inclined...

    Hdi noise improvements?

Peugeot have solved this but not for the RCZ alas. Up until recently my wife had a 2017 3008GT , a 2 litre diesel but in sport mode the noise in the cabin was pretty impressive on acceleration , whether it sounded the same outside the car who knows.

    Just picked mine up today!

Thanks, on my 3rd Z , black wheels are great because you don't need to wash the brake dust off every 5 minutes. Had 2 white ones previously and seemed to spend all my time cleaning them Probably an OCD thing , like them looking A1.

    Just picked mine up today!

Looks like a nice car, cosmetics can easily be sorted, mechanical not so easily or cheaply . Diesel lump has a great rep so you should be ok.

    Your cars mileage

That's pretty impressive I did 65k in the first one , 20k in the second and so far 5k in the present one so still many miles off your record.

    Your cars mileage

34k on a 2015 plate with 6 services Service history is as important as the engine type .

New to the forum, need help finding my first RCZ!

If you are driven by reliability buy the diesel but bare in mind these cars are remarkable value so spending a few £ maintaining them is no worse than the depreciation you get on other cars. As with any car make sure its got an up to date comprehensive service history. Petrol versions need...

Actually just noticed yours is the diesel , good shout as its reputation is that its more reliable than my 1.6 petrol.

Great looking car Looks like the same colour and spec as mine only I had the wheels powder coated gloss black because they hide the brake dust better. Mercury Grey also hides the muck better than most colours , doesn't stop me washing it every week though . Enjoy the car , not many about .

If they still made the RCZ I wouldn't be driving a 5 year old one now. Ill really miss the car when I move onto something new in 12 months or so . Don't think I could ever buy a TT because the RCZ is the car Audi should have made but they don't have the flair that the French have. As long as you...

I'm on my 3rd 156THP and although it's not rapid its quick enough for day to day and cruises quite happily at 70-80 on the motorway. They are great looking cars but do have their issues with the 1.6 prince engine. If you are looking for reliability go for the diesel which is bulletproof. I'm not...

    156thp front brakes upgrade

Totally agree with this The build quality on my wife's 2020 208 GT line is every bit as good as some of the German stuff kicking about these days.
