You've gone for the right car in the diesel which is much more reliable than the petrol but remember its French and 8 years old so don't be too disappointed if you have to spend a few £££ keeping it maintained. Depreciation on these cars is now pretty low so you need to balance that against...
Prices seem to be stable but there will be plenty of choice up to £7.5k so I'm sure you'll find the right car.
I paid £8.5K for a 2015 GT with 29000 miles 7 months ago and the retail price is probably still the same .
So yours is a mk1
There is a guy on the forum who changed the badge on a mk1 to a mk2 can't remember the thread someone else might.
A lot of people think the mk1 is the better looking car
Mines recently had a timing chain at 30k and 5 years old.
They can go at any mileage , worth checking if your car has already had it done
About £1000 for full timing chain kit replacement.
Hope you enjoy the car they are a work of art and quite rare so you'll turn more heads than many cars...

Good luck with that, the RCZ isn't a bad car but French cars in Europe have a reputation for less than great reliability although in fairness many people have pretty much trouble free motoring. Sounds like other than fuel pump which is also prone to problems you've had pretty much everything go...
Good luck with that, taking a multinational car manufacturer to court over an issue with a 7 year old car in a country that has some pretty extreme temperatures takes some guts, and probably a big bank balance.
Wouldn't disagree with any of that but lets be honest people don't buy French cars for their impeccable reliability record.
We buy RCZs because they look great and drive better so lets not kid ourselves, we know what we are buying and should expect to pay a bit out to keep them on the road...
Timing chains, fuel pumps , coked up valves , and electrical gremlins are the worst things to put up with but the 1.6 petrol unit isn't the most reliable on the planet and things can need replacing at quite low miles,
My first one had valve issues at less than 30k and my current one had a new...
