Yes I've been told it's ready at the Cazoo centre, I'm getting it Monday as I'm busy the weekend and didn't want to get it and just park it up for days.

Give an update when I've got it 🤞

The latest set of pictures miss out showing the issues from before.

My guess is they took it off the market and tried to get some of modifications reversed. The silly looking single exit exhaust is going to put most buyers off.

Just to many mods agree Kerr, that is definitely a red flag with any R in my opinion, the R just can’t be improved with any mod, this is a car that has been developed by Peugeot sport, thus for me perfect.

'Trade' seller on eBay selling a grey R on 85K by auction currently on £5.5K; apparently they don't know what it's worth (?!) and it's a private auction (always wary of that) some damage to front.

I have a feeling that is the car from the Serious About Salvage YouTube channel.

It's got gaps in it's MOT history which put me off.

I didn't get the white one as Cazoo messed me about then offered me a 12 month warranty as goodwill for my trouble, which when I looked into it the car wasn't eligible as it's over 8 years old which is the cut off from their warranty people, not sure if that was an oversight or a fraudulent offer, so I backed out, now they're messing about with my refund!

Sorry to hear that shame, hope you manage to find another one that meets your criteria.

Well spotted! Just looked at the video and it has the missing rear parking sensor in the same position!

Think he had all sorts of issues with it and flogged it in the end unfinished?

Yes the second gap in the MOTs ties up as well, 04/22 - 02/24

I remember it was sold on eBay when he gave up after so much trouble. It was spoken about on here. There might be more details found with a search.

The brake calipers also look the same. One of them is very white with little red paint left.

The time the car was off the road also would match up with the YouTube channel timings.

I'm sure it should be logged as a write off.

That is a absolute mess period, you would have to be very brave to take that on, its had a hell of an impact, another R lost shame.

The registration rings a bell but can't think of why it seems familiar. FYI, the one from Serious About Salvage was bought by one of the members of the FB group. I believe it is currently got a broken LSD and he was going to try to source one, he was quoted crazy amount as they would only sell him the whole gearbox. A couple of yours ago someone was selling just an R LSD for a few hundred quid but imagine it's really rare for something like that to come up.

I had a quick look at the Serious About Salvage. Their car had 86 thousand miles on a video. The car on eBay has 85 thousand miles.

They looked surprisingly similar and the time off the road matched up.

Maybe going to Torsen directly (if possible) would be cheaper or special;ist who could offer a rebuild

Hi Al.

Here's the link if you're still looking.

I've had absolutely no interest whatsoever at £7700 on all the usual platforms. I've just reduced it (drastically) to £5700. I could do with it being gone by the end of the month as we'll be out of the country till November. Keeping it stored and insured just to try selling it in the winter seems daft. I can't believe how much of a buyers market it is at the moment..

Apart from the R I can’t believe how cheap these cars can be had for, I feel your pain, as you say it’s definitely a buyers market for main stream cars.

New one has come on AT, I think there is room to put a bid on that.

Beautifully cared for car that hasn't been cleaned inside or out in ages. It's filthy inside. Look at the grime on the stereo and buttons.

The advert claims it has sailed through the MOT every year. Do they not realise people can check and see that's incorrect?

Budget tyres, kerbed alloys and the lip is obvious on the brake discs. A previous MOT has flagged a damaged jacking point.

They have no chance of getting that kind of money.

That is exactly right Kerr, that car can be had for a bargain, can’t believe the presentation inside, it’s certainly not been cared for, I would go in hard on the price, given the MOT history.
