Now I see the wheels are different (I didn't before you said) and there's a strange white strip along the bottom edge, are there other changes?
The stripe is bits of body kit stuck on, mirrors and spoiler have been painted.

The above for me is a personal thing and won’t be to everybody’s liking, it’s all money if you want to go back to the original spec, especially with the wheels as it’s difficult to tell the condition from the pictures.

I think a lot of people are looking at the envelope rather than the letter with that car, it maybe a good car underneath but to many bits stuck on for me, plus the paint job, body and wheels won’t be to a lot of people’s taste.

The R is the only car I have had where I wouldn’t change a thing, Peugeot got everything absolutely spot on.

Does nothing for me...like most such mods 'great when owned' but de-values and lowers desirability of the car on resale.

Yes I would prefer a standard car, but if it was spot on otherwise I may consider it, but I'm in Kent so it's a bit of a distance, so f you get the chance to check it out I look forward to it.

Looks like the only one up now!

Diamond cut wheels just don't last on our roads. Once they are refurbished they last an even shorter length of time before corrosion sets into the lacquer.

There is a little depth to the R in the pictures of the wheels on that car. Maybe a last skim for a diamond cut finish is possible. The wheels look so plain in silver.

The black and silver car has had 6 owners. I still want to know why the RCZ R plaque under the radio hasn't been removed. Is it hiding something? Superglued on and impossible to remove without damage?

The car with the smokey engine has now gone from AutoTrader.

That plaque really is on another level as a mod 😂

It's offensive. It annoys me looking at it. It looks so stupid and out of place. It's the wrong colour and doesn't fit well.

I want to know why the dealer or previous owners haven't taken it off.

I think it’s obvious, as you say it’s probably glued on and will cause damage if removed.

Unless there is something bad under there, people really do have some strange ideas!

I will be over that way Tuesday, so if it’s still there, I will pop in and report back.

Called in today, it’s definitely been a track car, slicks on the rear, big bore exhaust on the back etc.

Bodywork was good, wheels have been refurbished, nearside wheels down to virtually nothing with the R logo, seemed to sit very low, obviously far from factory in a big way.

For someone looking for a genuine R it would be a definite no no as there would be no way you could know the history or how many people have driven it.

The wheels for me is a massive thing on the R, due to the cost and availability, also a modded one is a real turn off, as there is simply nothing you can do to improve an R from a mechanical perspective or bodywork wise, it’s simply a masterpiece.

The car is cheap for a reason, it’s unlikely it will ever be returned to standard spec due to the cost, this is an example why in my opinion a good honest R will command strong and rising prices moving forward.

Think there's only that 'Barry'd up' black R left on AT now.

Thanks for that, definitely a no no for me.

The smokey engined car is back, the Cazoo car is back and the black car is back.

It keeps reappearing every time the market is quiet. It is still on the Jam Jar website for £1000 more. The photos are from the same car park, but it's a new advert this time.

Have you noticed the stitching on the drivers bolster seat is coming away? not shown on the new advert.

Is that the white one? There is a 360 view of the interior.

Has anybody got the previous mileage? Maybe the white one was sold and returned.

The big question, is the white one worth buying? As it's in my price range and I'm fed up being carless, been looking at TTs!

No not the white one, its the black one, I think it will be hard to buy a good one in your price range which won’t need money spending on it, parts are ridiculously expensive for the R.

As someone who also owns a TT I would say put your budget there and buy, otherwise up your budget and wait for a good low mileage R to come up.

I was thinking to take it to a specialist and get it checked out, if it was bad just take it back to Cazoo, would cost me check up at worse.

Cazoo are very good, my son recently bought a car from them, you get a couple of weeks to try with a max of 200 miles, if not satisfied you just take it back.

Is there an R specialist around S.E. London/Kent area?

The log book wasn't issued for the Cazoo car. It hadn't been taxed either.
