Re: P2263 Boost Pressure code - off to Peugeot in the mornin
I recently had the HPFP changed late December which got rid of a different error code but yes will cause the same problem - light on, no power. I also had little change out of £800 and that wasn't from main dealer - luckily I have a...
Re: P2263 Boost Pressure code - off to Peugeot in the mornin
Next follow up. It went back in to Marshall Cambridge today to have a sensor replaced after I was told it could have been two parts that cause this problem and they tried one first yesterday (Solenoid valve) but ordered this sensor...
Re: P2263 Boost Pressure code - off to Peugeot in the mornin
Latest on this.
It went to Marshall Peugeot Cambridge this morning for the fix to be done - Solenoid Valve replaced. (We won't mention the fact it actually went in on Friday but they'd got the wrong part). It lasted 6 (yes, six!)...
Hi Karen,
Did you manage to replace the grille yourself? I've got the same problem - cracked plastic grille on the very right hand side. Also been quoted the same price for the part but fancy fitting it myself to save on labour! Any tips on taking it all apart?
Thanks
Re: P2263 Boost Pressure code - off to Peugeot in the mornin
They've come back with it being a fault Cam Intake Phaser - anyone had this? I'm still sitting in the dealers waiting for a further update on parts/costs/labour etc.
Re: P2263 Boost Pressure code - off to Peugeot in the mornin
Which dealer was that? They're basically saying up to an hours diagnostics and that's their hourly rate.
Hi,
In the last week I've had a "P2263 - Boost Pressure" error code and into limp mode. Local village garage (great reputation and done all work on my car so far including timing chain and HPFP) diagnosed as collapsing pipe connected to turbo and asked Pug for a new pipe. Pug instead sent...
Forgot to add - the car is running absolutely fine. No loss of power, no limp mode. I only took for 2 miles round the block - I'm now going to stop driving it until it's back in the garage again.
AA man said he was able to clear the codes while the engine was off but not when the engine was...
Hi,
My RCZ recently started going very wrong. AA out many times.
On 5/10/18 - It kicked off with a P0945 (Engine oil pump), P15A0 (engine oil pressure too high), P1030 Variable valve timing, P0299 (Boost pressure), P2262 (valve for boost pressure control, valve stuck open), P2263 (boost...
Re: Timing Chain Stretch - who has had the problem?
Forgot to add - my bill will be £600 including VAT for the repair - being done over the next week. Looking forward to having the RCZ back!
Re: Timing Chain Stretch - who has had the problem?
Thanks to those who've answered so far - need more people if anyone knows anyone on here or knows of other forums to post to?
I contacted the DVSA yesterday to get more details on the Mitsubishi recall which is detailed here...
Good morning all,
My 2011 RCZ GT 200 has the classic timing chain stretched problem at 59k miles. Been quoted £580+vat for parts and labour for the repair - seems reasonable from what I've read.
Emailed Peugeot about all of this 'common' problem and asked them for documentation on why they...
