Some info for others who get this error. The error came up and the lh xenon was off. Since globes cost $100-$300 (AT AUTO shop, $40 odd on fleabay) I wanted to diagnose the prob. Xenonfitted cars come with car height sensors on the suspension . Or faulty ballast (the HV converter I think). Or...

i would say if you saw steam then a hose has popped off. You probably wouldnt see steam from a leaking seal. I had the same thing about 3 weeks after I got mine a year ago. the big hose from the radiator to the engine came off while driving. I think it wasnt tightened after some prev work. Dunno...
