I think I will be able to come down on saturday from leicester.

and I am up for the peugeot convoy from nottingham (if your in 200hp versions you will have to be slower for me in my 156hp lol)

My wife has just taken a phone call from my works to alert her to the fact that my Sundays have been readjusted for July. Apparently instead of the usual one out of three ratio which is the normal pattern I am now required to do every other one for that month. (holiday cover) I am now down to do the 3rd,17th and 24th then back to the usual pattern from the 14th of August. I will see if I can do anything about this when I return to work next week, but I assume that this is what is going to be. Had I not been off this week it may not have occurred this way, but I won't hold my breath

Well folks it's with a sad heart that I will have to cancel the Yorkshire Meet

Some of you will be aware that I had an emergency operation last week and things were going along nicely. However, having been for my follow up appointment today, I have been told that there is a small complication and told to rest fully for the next two weeks at least so have been signed off work. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I was really looking forward to this and hoping to show the rest of the forum that we could manage a meet amongst us. I was also looking forward to putting a few faces to names and getting to know some of our members a little better.

I hope that those of you who were planning on attending have not been inconvenienced too much and hopefully we can all meet up again sometime in the near future.

Please accept my sincere apologies, I really don't like letting people down.
