I saw this place advertised on Groupon today. It might be an option for people who haven't found anywhere to stay yet? I don't think Scarborough is too far away.....

There are a whole lot of places closer and easier to get to than Scarborough

easy for you to say .... I'm just the ABERDONIAN looking at a map :)

Exactly. Hence, me offering a little local knowledge to avoid anybody disappointment

Well ladies and gentlemen, the table has been booked at the Lion Inn, Blakey Ridge for 4.30pm. I've booked it for 17 people but I've said this number could increase, which isn't a problem for them.

See you all very soon.... :)

I don't know Ron but he won't be in his RCZ then will he. He'll have his new toy ;)

Will he not have a choice of the two? His new toy will leave us all behind.

It would give you a great opportunity to bond with your yearling and really get to know her

yeah, nothing like getting to know a person in real life. :eusa-think:

One day maybe our paths will cross.
As I've said a lot of the talk on here is banter to pass the time away. We all give as good as we get ;)

I've said right from the onset of your disillusionment with your Z, that you need to drive it. 6K in 12 months is unforgivable neglect  She looks gorgeous and if only you drove her (say to Yorkshire and back) you would have the opportunity to appreciate that she has a lot more going for her than simply her looks. Beneath that exterior lies a whole lot of pleasure and the Yorkshire Dales are such a place to appreciate her (up till now) hidden delights. Come and stay and meet the Syndrome afflicted.
