If it was "real" data, it'd require an oil temp sensor on the engine. Is there such?

A similar simulation of engine's oil temperature does the Renault Megane Cup. It has no dedicated oil temp sensor on the engine. It just calculates the values and displays them to the driver. At the end this is perfectly OK for a daily driver.

Am I right in thinking that the euro6 engine is in the MK2 RCZ like the latest 208 GTi or is the Euro 6 only in the R(albeit with added specialised parts?

So, the OH had the car this morning, I'm afraid I was too ill to stop her (Gastroenteritice) Merry Christmas 👎

Anyway, when she brought it back I took a quick shot of that screen, showing both levels almost to optimum.....
How did you get the screen to show the temperature? Is it on set models or head units?

A long long time ago, (@ 9 years I think) when I still knew what I was doing, I used Mirascripts on my PC to copy and modify certain CMD files amongst others to enable different screens on the flip up monitor. I can control them with the button in the end of the stalk.
When I did it, the advice was not to do it as it’s very easy to brick the head unit with just a , or / in the wrong place.
I downloaded the required software from GPS Underground website that no longer exists, but if you search the web for mirascripts download, you might find it, then it’s a case of looking for instructions on how to modify RT6 command files.
if you do decide to go down the rabbit hole, make sure you make a copy of the original files first, so if all else fails you can revert back to save the day.
