That's a good job done Tony

I was wondering the same as Neil but you've answered that !

Checked mine whilst doing the bumpers at weekend, they are silver with no rust on either car, think they maybe sorted the rust problem out for the mk2 but I don't know for sure.

Must say you are putting the hours in and she is looking brilliant.

I always give my cars a bit of a brake tart up. Usually go for silver, although the calipers on my RCZ are matte black so maybe try a similar colour for the disc hubs.
After checking they aren't due for replacement soon first!

Just don't get carried away when you start painting like this guy, OK!
Believe it or not I went to a custom paint shop recently and they said that's the best way to do it :eusa-think: they reckon the pads remove the excess paint from the discs?

Yes they do. I'm never too fussy when doing it, and they always clean up after a few uses.

I'm not dissing it either way but I thought it would be a fire hazard with the heat. And the paint fusing to the pads would decrease functionality wouldn't it ? Either way it's not for me.

I intend to do a bit more work on her this week as Im off Thursday and Friday hoping for some nice weather but not to hot (dnt want any sunstroke again)

Pics will be posted. Put my Peugeot decals on the calipers the other day in time for the FCS and they look great will put pics up

This is what the previous owner did to the rear of my R. I quite like it.

Interesting colour choice... Any particular reason?

I was going to buy the Ligne S ones, for the red border, but they are silver. I saw these and thought I'd give them a go. If I dont like the yellow/green, I've still got the all black ones already :)
