One of the reasons I moved away from Peugeot is that Peugeot stopped making good cars, the 306 GTI-6 was really their last decent hot hatch and by 2001 it was off the menu and the 206 gti was no where near as good and neither was the 208 GTI 180, nice engine and handling wasnt bad but the overall package....

In a way they are right (Top Gear), Peugeot seem to go through phases, they are back on to a phase where they are making really nice exciting cars, the 307 was a bit bland as was the 407, practical but not a patch on the Mondeo that was its main rival, though the range has improved as have the cars in the last few years

There's no denying Jeremy Clarkson has made me laugh a lot over the years with some of the choice stuff he has said about various cars. Here's some of his best:
