You didn't upset me at all but I think it was perhaps a little unfair to suggest that 156 owners are any less a of petrol head than a 200 owner. I'm quite sure that the same number of 200 owners as 156 (or diesel owners) won't be petrol heads. My own motivation for buying the 156 was price. Yes, I'd have loved the 200 from the outset but the figures didn't stack up. To eh honest, if price hadn't been a limiting factor then I'd have plumped for a GTR!!! :lol:
I think it's important to remember that we have different motivations and limitations. For some it'll be price, for some it'll be spec, for others it'll be mileage. However, that shouldn't lead to any kind of elitism or judgement. Now, I'm NOT suggesting that you were doing the latter (you weren't) but, it's perhaps something for us all to consider. Besides...we all chose the right car regardless.
