Apart from my 1st car which was a used car in 1993 when I was a student, the next 11 were all brand new, 8 of which were Peugeot's.
I would never have considered a demonstrator.... until now.
The situation, I was in back in May was having a 10 plate Pearl White 308CC GT that I no longer liked. The fact that it was off the road for nearly a month back in March with engine problems was the last straw really.
Faced with a £10.5k loss after 15 months of ownership I couldn't really afford paying £28k for an RCZ without being left with very little in the bank. Not a position I want to be in with the way the economy is the now. I found a 4 month old Amber Red RCZ GT 200THP that also had Integral Leather, Vision Pack and Solstice Black Onyx Wheels with 1200 miles. At £22k, the £6k saving made up for the £10.5k loss on the CC.
It meant that for £7k, I could go back to driving a car that I would enjoy again rather than enduring. What didn't help the CC was that it replaced a Nissan 350Z Roadster that I had for 5 years, a hard act for a 308CC to follow - and it failed
So as much as I would have preferred to buy brand new again, the demo route wasn't too bad and I have had no issues with the car apart from the mirror issue.
