Chaanges?

1: Ditch the orange LCD screens.. so 90's.. a black and white LCD would be much nicer
2: In house tuning options - or at least dealer approved packs
3: stylish DRL - adressed by the new 308 bumpers though
4: pedals that are set out as a sports car should be rather than a mothers shopping trolley (why are they staggered?!)
5: Sport button to change exaust tone - wishful thinking but would be nice to be able to choose soft sounding or all out vocals!

For me , the biggest change would be to the pedal positions. Why is the clutch pedal SO high ??? Next would be a standard sparewheel (spacesaver). A more sporty sounding exhaust would be nice. I wish the seat base was more adjustable, so I could get support under my thighs. Now I will upset some and say...I cannot understand the lust for running lights or quad exhausts ! Its not a V8 !! Each to his own I suppose ! Cheers.

Interesting to read that you are experiencing problems with your ipod via the USB on the standard system. I can honestly say that I've not had any problems with my ipod, which is always played via the USB. Which ipod do you have?

In what way is your leather not wearing well and what do you use to look after it?

I have an iPhone 3GS it constantly cuts out and demands restarts most the time i just bluetooth nowadays it stops it.

its wrinkling up on the support sides of the seats as if it has been got in and out often (my dads bentley when he had that had the same issue but only started when it had more than 30,000 miles on the clock and he never treated the seats)

i havent used anything on the leather seats yet I haven't used it enough to do a treatment yet on seats in my opinion but guess I am wrong on that one.

Hi Tomy, there does appear to be some issues with the iphone in the RCZ judging by other threads that I've read. I don't have the iphone so that's probably why I've not experienced the same problems.

With regards to the leather, it IS important that the leather is maintained, cleaned and protected regularly. Its not just sitting on the seats that can cause this sort of thing to happen. It loses moisture, which causes cracking, sagging, wrinkling, etc and also dirt becomes ingrained in it, because of the high temperatures that can be reached inside cars due to either the weather or from the heaters. Cleaning and protecting the leather puts moisture back into the leather keeping it supple and free from dirt, which can make the leather go shiny rather than keeping matt. I would suggest that you start cleaning it on a regular basis - I do mine fortnightly and protect it every 3 months with specialist products.

yeah I have put some autogylm products on it today so it should reduce my complaints.

and it just a culture shock for me considering this is the 1st car I have ever had with a leather interior the most leather I have had on a car is a steering wheel, handbrake and a gear stick.

But i will start doing it from now that I know that leather really does need it.

1) Day running LEDs
2) New front bumper bespoke to RCZ
3) Quads as standard
4) Stop start and or hybrid technology to improve on the already impressive emissions/mpg
5) -
That's all :)

I would buy an electric/petrol hybrid with the 200THP engine in a heartbeat. It would be amazing as a 4 wheel driven hybrid.

1. Not both exhausts at the same side -> it should be one left and one right. (I think standard quads are just too much for a 156 hp car)
2. Option to take off the roof (as a whole, doesn't have to be a folding roof). I would have liked to be able to say 'yes!' if people asked whether it is a cabrio
3. Option to turn off the gear shift indicator
4. Spoiler stage indicator and an option NOT to have it go up automatically
5. I don't have a clue what's the correct word for this, but I would have like those handles above the door (on the inside of the car).

The second one is of course too expensive, but I think the others would have been feasible

4. - That's a no no on the second stage, it's required for stability so you have to have it :!:
5. - Grab handle is what you are looking for.

Just thought of my 5th thing i would change.

If the spoiler has been activated in manual mode it should retract when you lock the doors by remote, otherwise it just stays open when you lock everything up

Not sure that this is what you had in mind when you posted this thread Kerry..... but. As my wife believes that she has slipped into 5th place in my affections then I really ought to change my love for
1. My RCZ
2. My computer (RCZ forum)
3. Cleaning material (for my RCZ)
4. Squeak (our cat)
5. My wife

I don't have the RCZ yet but I can come up with some things I would want:

1. LED running lights.
2. Option of NG4 3D like system without the Sat Nav features (cheaper and does the job - TomTom would do the Sat Nav).
3. Hill Start Assist feature.
4. Rear camera that displays on NG4 3D (or similar system without Sat Nav) as you reverse.

That would complete the RCZ for me and I would be willing to pay a few more grand for it, too.

Well you are 25% there then, as you have this as standard. ;)
