Wales have been rampant! They have been utterly awesome today. I just hope Scotland can do the same in Paris...but I seriously doubt it!

Ireland were very poor and undisciplined today. Disappointed in o'driscoll and his departure from international rugby with that stamping incident. He was/is a fantastic player and he really let himself down.

Jactac - you're gonna have some hangover tomorrow!!!!

What a day, just awesome, and I got the best hangover in Wales to prove it, alongside the biggest heart at the moment.
SO SO PROUD TO BE WELSH EVERY DAY, BUT THIS MORNING IS A SPECIAL ONE, WELL DONE THE LADS. :happy-wavemulticolor: :clap: :clap:

They were just brilliant, some of those tackles were brutal, I had a great seat in the stadium, only 3 rows back from the side line, right on the center line, you could hear the crunch of bodies every time there was a big tackle.
In all honesty England physically did not fancy it, The Welsh side were just so fired up, just like our flame throwing dragon. :clap: :clap:

There was no way was that cup going back over the bridge to be paraded around by a bunch of pretty boy hairdresser models . :lol: :lol:

Right then, gotta get me some Panadol, a cup of tea and watch the whole thing again on TV. :dance: :dance:

I know as much about Rugby as you do about driving a RCZ :eusa-think: What was the score by the way jactac? I just take it for granted that England will fail at all sports that they partake in, Over paid over hyped and under committed comes to mind :roll:

Reading your enthusiasm K. I suspect that my lack of enthusiasm is misplaced here. There is no feeling like the one you are experiencing right now. I share that feeling, but I simply can't get excited over sport. Music......... now that's a different story. Will have to google to find out how much your lot whooped the lads by.

30 - 3 What an embarrassment. They should be bloody ashamed of themselves. Doubtless they have the standard excuses ready. Which will have nothing to do with their lack of skill or commitment

You know what I love about rugby and the 6 nations in particular is the banter. :dance:

Yesterday was a fantastic day inside and outside the ground, there were thousands of supporters from both sides screaming for their team to rip into the opposition, every tackle that brought down an opponent came with huge applause from the crowd. Yet there was not an ounce of trouble inside the stadium or out amongst the pubs and streets. Plenty of banter, plenty of debate, huge amount of singing and shouting over the opposing fans, but still no trouble. :clap:

Even as the beer flowed, and banter was at it's peak from, both sets of fans, no trouble. :clap:
Now if that had been a football match
The word carnage comes to mind. :thumbdown:
Strange how such an aggressive game like rugby brings along real fans that just want to see a good game and enjoy the atmosphere, yet the game of football which is far less aggressive on the pitch, can find it's fans act like they are playing rugby themselves, but in the streets and pubs. :eusa-think:

Graham Henry (ex Welsh coach) once said, " Welsh Fans Party When They Win, But Also Party When They Lose".

No need for trouble, it's all just a bit of banter :thumbup:

Sounds like a fantastic day Jactac! I couldn't agree with you more on the differences between rugby and football fans. I am a huge sports fan and have been to countless football and rugby union matches. However, I am always struck by the more gentile attitude of rugby fans. You're absolutely right, they are every bit as passionate as the most loyal football fan but there isn't the same propensity to throw fists around.

My lot sadly couldn't find the spark in Paris but I am happy with third place. I can't imagine that too many people won money on the results this year! Anyway, well done to Wales. :clap:

Its £850 D-plan plus its a stock model so they want to move it,ordering a new factory car then it would have been not so great a deal

Anyone done Vegas ?

Thinking of going for a week later in the year, but not sure where to stay though ect. :eusa-think:
Thinking of going with Virgin but undecided yet.

Probably a tacky sort of place to go but I'v always wanted to try it out. :eusa-think:
I'm no gambler, wouldn't even know how to put a bet on :? But just want to example the atmosphere of Vegas and be pampered in a fancy gaff at the same time. :dance:

So if anyone has some tips or advice on best places to stay or visit ect, please feel free to pass them on.

Hi Jactac

Never done Vegas but used Virgin 3 times to USA. First time they were spot on. Second time they had reduced baggage allowance and also would not put on air con on plane whilst we were boarding in Orlando (scorching). The last time we were delayed 16 hours in Miami due to a faulty artificial horizon in cockpit (nightmare).
We complained bitterly when we returned but they just said it was company policy to parts share with other airlines and they didn't have a spare artifical horizon to hand. My wife and I just both felt that they are a company that are not quite as good as they used to be but still charge top prices and ride on the reputation of yesterday.

To put this into context, this summer we are going to New York with American Airlines and the difference in cost is considerable !
Have you considered New York ?

Vegas is one of my favourite places. I go every year to CES (consumer electronics show) in January.

Stay on the strip and it doesn't really matter where you stay. If you want fairly central then somewhere like the the Paris hotel is good, but they are all good hotels. You will have to go into each of the hotels anyway just to spend time looking around at them - they are beyond belief - for example - New York New York - the reception lobby is basically a city just like walking down streets of new york, or the venitian - travel around by gondala inside the hotel...

I normally stay at Treasure Island - which is down one end of the strip, and then for going out you can walk or take the monorail down the strip. Luxor is interesting to stay at if you like odd elevator rides (they go up at an angle and sideways etc. as they are going through the pyramid).

Anyway - I could go on for ages about the place - most friendly place on earth that feels so safe walking around at night (even with the people pushing prostitutes around - they are not allowed by law to actually talk to you, so they just flick their cards advertising their wares as you walk past)...
