Der is that a Audi customised job :eusa-think: aint seen it in that colour before mate :wtf: what you got now :eusa-think: Also them wheels look LIKE the alloys off a 30TH annieversary GTI :eusa-think:

It was an Audi Exclusive colour. Stupidly I spent a fortune in mods on that car and then got shot of it. The grill is custom from the states, lowered, remapped, BBS CK wheels, custom interior. Then I decided I really need to scratch a particular itch and bought this:

Douglas Park were and still are offering stupidly good deals on factory order M3s with the M4 coming out next year. Oh and yes was shot at Strathy (same as the M3 ones above).

Have you got pictures of the custom interior Derek?

Love the A5!! I am still astonished by their willingness to custom match colours. What way to have a truly unique car. I did think the mesh grille didn't look like an Audi option. Looks great. Can really see the alloys in that shot but they look like they suit the car. I do like the Audi shadow ones though. All in all a cracking looking car. Massively different to what you replaced it with though!!

I will have somewhere. Not overly done though. Just black with some different OEM trims and, replaced headliner and the leather re-done with light blue stitching.

LOL! Well I would have preferred an RS5 as well but couldn't afford one and the M3 is on a 2.5 year lease. After that I'll be going back to something more affordable. I couldnt afford to run one of these for ever. Plan is that the Mrs will get her RCZ and I'll end up with a boring four door box.

Running costs must be astronomical everything is M spec even the oil is like £100 a pop. I know I ran a 335i Msport coupe for 2.5 years and if u drive it like ur supposed to u'll never see more than 19 mpg so dread to think what 4lt V8 would be doing. There a bit softer than the old E46 M3 I had  , the best car I've ever owned still miss it but nearly bankrupted me keeping it running, £1400 for new tyres every year  stupidly fast thou and they sound amazing

Ach well...it's "only" money after all. Can't take it with you when you're dead and at least you had a cracking time enjoying those cars...well apart from the bills! :D

On a week to week I'm get 18.5mpg. On a long motorway run it'll do around 24mpg. Mine has start/stop and BMW's equivalent of "recuperation" through the brakes so maybe that helps. Servicing costs are nuts with a running in service at 1200 miles costing £600.00 (basically an oil change). I took the "Service Inclusive" option which covers all servicing for 5 years or 50k miles for £1k. I only do around 7k miles a year though so tyres shouldnt be much of an issue. If I can stop wheel spinning them in this weather that is.

To be honest, I've only had it since October and although I do love it, I don't think I'd be that fussed about getting a car as fast as this again. It's so bonkers fast and the rev range so high that you simply can't enjoy the full performance that it has to offer on public roads.

Ahh... The good old days when you did actually have a few "interests" on the go at once...

Now I'm middle-aged, baldy and married...!

Wouldn't have it any other way of course (well except the baldy part).

Happens to the best of us :(

My old RME teacher back in the day used to try and convince us that it was a solar charging sex panel. Looking back at that...that was a touch inappropriate for the classroom!!
