Right...I'm taking the chairman's seat of the sick club. My brother's wedding is tomorrow and I now have a half golf ball sized painful swelling in my face. After extensive conversations with NHS 24, being given a dental appointment for tomorrow morning only for me to tell ten for the umpteenth time that it ISN'T dental, the whole thing has been restarted and I now have to attend an after hours surgery at 6:20pm. Currently I resemble a tobacco chewing hic, am utterly filled with self disgust and in significant pain. Last wedding I was due to attend my lung spontaneously collapsed. Should I read something into this...? :eusa-think:

That doesn't sound good Mr Rizz.......... I hope the emergency doctors appt sorts you out but at this late stage, before your brother's wedding, antibiotics or anything else for that matter, are not going to have had chance to kick in by then. Have you tried praying to the higher god for some divine intervention for a miracle cure overnight?

I am, by nature, an optimist but this week has given me a punt somewhere painful every step of the way. The weird thing is that an infection has surfaced at all as I've been taking penicillin since Monday for my tonsillitis. On any normal week this would have been a rather crummy litany of events but it seems to have been magnified as it is in the run up to my brother's wedding and my best man duties. Sorry to moan!!

Rizzo you have a touch of Jassys bad luck although yours is due to your health i hope you feel better soon mate really do sometimes these symptoms are related and your immune system is at a low ebb hence the infection and toncilitus :thumbdown: XXX................ :lol: :lol:

Cheers Jassy...both for your kind words and heterosexual man love. Both mean a lot to me! just home from GMEDS with even more pills and an ointment. I look like a half man half chipmunk hybrid. It's terrifying!! Slightly concerned about ruining tomorrow's photos. Maybe I'll specify that only my better side is photographed in profile!

As for the number of posts...hmmm...I didn't realise they were so high!! No doctoring of figures guv'nor...honest!!! Mind you...I'm still way under RCZ1s count!!

Been away for a few days on a course :sleeping-yellow:
I havent driven the Z for over 3 weeks, she's just sitting the looking all sad covered in leaves. :thumbdown:
Gonna try and give her a bit of a pampering this weekend, weather permitting.

Read your thread Rizzo regarding your illness, at first I thought you had tried some of my home made Testy Soup ( no need to add salt) or cheese for that matter. :?
