I was in the same boat m8 when i started my new job a few weeks ago.

I got this job over a phone call but have a small interview monday morning but have to bring my tools along at the same time so this deep male chargehand voice told me :lol:

Dind not make it to my new job today because of a jack knifed lorry blocking the motorway M80 NORTH BOUND :x :x this was at 6.50 am i had to be there for 7.45 with a 20 mile journey in front me motorway closed and all surrounding roads gridlocked,I returned home as the accident was less than a mile from home i phoned the company the boss wasnt in yet 7am left a message with a chap giving the reason why,then phoned again at 8.00am the boss had been and gone her indoors was blaming me for not sitting in grid locked traffic :x :x but the chap phoned me at 8.30am to say he knew of the accident and just to come tomorrow at 7.45 Avril said he wouldnt phone as thats the way of people these days :eusa-shhh: :eusa-shhh: :lol: .This is 2nd time in row this has happened on my first day going to a new job the last time was in november because of bad weather

I am really enjoying my time in Pearl2 this week :thumbup: I have returned to car sharing for work, and it's my chance to drive my beloved RCZ. I am still so impressed by the handling and acceleration of this diesel coupé. The music volume has been notched up quite a bit on the homeward journey as my colleague enjoys my collection of rock music. Not too sure he feels the same about my work bound choice, today was Evita (soundtrack) my favourite musical. Yesterday was a little Mozart, but it was his suggestion to car share so he has to suffer the consequences :wtf:

Your taste in music is bit of an accuired taste Ron :lol: As for car sharing you are brave :lol: I can count in one hand the people who have been passengers in my car the last time was avril last week when i picked her up from glasgow airport,my passenger seat is never really used no ripples and i like it that way as new.
my car my private domain and i use Avrils car every time i can to save me using the rcz to keep the mileage down as i am at 6000 miles now 10k miles per year/2 years for the lease after 20kmiles its something like 14p mile.

Ohh by the way i jacked that job so did the other guy that started they were really taking the piss when it came to money I am that embarrased at the hourly rate i wont even mention it they said 4 weeks work to us me and the other spark surveyed the job and agreed it was 10 days max fixing cowboy electricians work that started the job originally,we kindly gave our reasons and left :lol: Was rather annoyed and a wee bit dissapointed

So i am back in the hoose :lol: going stir crazy :crazy:

I don't have any issues with mileage as it is my car. Done just over 8k now. I got this one 30th July. All my music sounds incredible in the car. I can whack the volume up to full and it's as clear as a bell. No distortion or speaker rattle, not that I do too often, but certain tracks do call for it :thumbup:
Sorry about the job. I understood the money was to be really good ? It really ought to send a message when you both down tools and walked. May explain why the workmanship is so shoddy. Pay peanuts get monkeys and all that. Hope that you get back into employment very shortly :beer:

But there is a bit of a reward.................
Off to Tiawan this sunday for 5 days, all paid for by new company to check out some machinery. :thumbup:
Then when I return, complimentary tickets for Wales V France final game in executive box at Millenium Stadium as a bit of a thankyou. :thumbup:
