Well Ron i did in fact turn down the offer from our oriental 5s friends, nothing to do with their working policies, in fact i did fancy a total change from what i have done for years, but their shift pattern was not the best of patterns and to be honest the money was not great.
So i have taken up an offer from a company that do what i have been doing, they are about 30 mins away, a lot smaller than what i'm used to but they are going through big changes and have plans already in place to expand, basicaly i will be doing the same job on a simular shift pattern for the same pay but more of a key member within the system.
And now i have had an offer of an interview with Fords in Bridgend at the engine plant next friday.
A staggering 2700 applications forms were received for 22 places, 12 of those places were already set aside for apprenticeships with colleges ect, that leaves just 10 vacancies with 2700 people trying for one of the jobs !!!!
AND I'VE GOT A BLOODY INTERVIEW, :dance:
So to be on the safe side, just in case you may be thinking of buying a ford , just remember that your engine could of been touched by a little old sheep lover from the valleys.
Just toot the horn, and if it plays a Tom Jones song or sounds like a Sheep having happy days with jactac then your driving a classic :lol: :thumbup:
