Strange but true. I have never gotten excited by the thought of a new car. In fact my current car has never felt new. Maybe because I have collected my last three with a private plates attached. Perhaps with the current one, no one other than me, probably realised that it was new, as to the uninitiated it was the same. The upside is that it is now 2 years old and doesn't feel so to me. Normally, by this age it would have been sold to make way for a new one. I along with my financial position have changed and Pearl2 is here to stay

Says a lot about the car then Ron. Yeah money can make you hang on to things longer, but if you grow bored of a car a way is normally found.

It may even make my morning drive to work a pleasure again

The RCZ is the best car that I have ever owned and the way things are looking will be the best car that I ever own. Not that that is a bad thing as it really is a stonkingly great, fun and beautiful car

It will make every drive a pleasure, not just the one to work. Even going to the dentist is great in the Z.

Well a week today I get this bloody car that's taken over my life

Even though my good lady now answers every question or remark that has the words 'RCZ' OR 'New car' with 'Yes dear!' She got me this little token of her torture ..

She also thinks I will chill out after I've taken delivery of the said problem car
Muuuwwwhhhaaaaahaaaarrrrr

Shhhhhhh its a secret. ....

And I do put up with Saturday kitchen, master chef, Raymond plonk, bloody Jamie Oliver and something along the lines of Master baker (carful how you say that!).
I've just sat through Xfactor, had to sit in some fancy restaurant waiting 4 weeks for the main for my birthday. Which also put my plans on getting the smaller steering wheel on hold.....moan, moan, moan.....
Where was I?...
Oh yeah, so a bit of excited chat every 2.5 minutes about my new car isn't too much to put up with

Ah - there's nowt wrong with watching Grease - I've just done the same :) you can't watch it and not sing along. C'mon don't tell me you weren't sneaking a peek at ONJ - just with the one eye ;) in those skin tight trousers :)

She may well surprise you with questioning tomorrow

I was officially THE MOST DESPERATE WAITER for an RCZ, my husband was nearly suicidal listening to my hourly 'when will it be here?' comments. It does not end when she finally arrives, you will then become obsessed with cleaning her and more importantly parking her safely wherever you go. In fact we are taking a taxi to the station and the airpot in the next 2 months rather than park my car where it might get damaged!

I just thought, ill be near St Austell in the first week of September on Holiday. Might see you around if you have yours by then :p

I work at St.Columb Road virtually 7 x days per week which is close to St.Austell. Dependant on times, I would be able to meet up. Could cruise over to Eden project for pics as its inbetween.

Eden is a mile from my front door. Some nice places if you go in up the country lanes from st blazey.
Have fun
